Cetec says P/N already in database but it's not

Greetings - I am trying to create a BOM P/N but Cetec says its already in the system but I can’t find it. Where else can I go to find it??

More likely the part existed at one point nad it was “deleted”.

Go to Parts–>Lists–>Part List, select your Part, Status=Inactive and Submit.

Thank you I was able to find it. It is created as BOMD6015P0 but I cannot add components to it. I have not seen this before… Is there a work around?

Good morning - I created this part using the BOM PRC code but when I look at the part in the parts list it says it is not a BOM. How do I correct this??

Hello,

If you go to the edit screen, there is a button to switch it into a bom.

Greetings - I tried that yesterday and clicked on udate as well but it doesn’t work.

I noticed it says (Remove As BOM disabled) next to the CREATE AS BOM button. What does this mean?

FYI…OK I just reverted back to the old version and it works now as I would expect it to.

Thanks for this information, I will check out the new version and escalate to engineering.
