Inventory Qty Inconsistency

Hello,

We are seeing an in consistency between the inventory quantities listed on the Inv Value list and the quantities listed in the Warehouse Specific Data / Full Inventory list.

For example, COL10015 shows a Qty of 1348 in both the Warehouse Specific Data / Full Inventory completed at year end however the Inv Value list shows it as 6425.

This issue is applying to other parts as well. Please let us know why this is happening.

Hey Cam,

I’ve checked into this issue that you’ve reported, and can see the inconsistency that you’ve sent over. I’m working on reproducing this particular issue on our end, and will get this over to engineering.

Hey Cam,

I’ve got an update here from our engineering team on this inventory qty discrepancy you were seeing on the Inventory Value Report that I wanted to pass along:

There was an issue that didn’t properly document inventory that was being adjusted - it was setting the current inventory to 0 with no qty record of the qty being subtracted from the bin on the inventory qty report.

We’ve updated the two places where the issue was occurring and inserted the qty that was adjusted. Your inventory value report should now be up to date and reflect the values that you were expecting.

Please review your inventory value report and let me know if this isn’t the case.

Thanks for the update.

I assume one of the places you’ve updated this amount was with COL10015, but what was the other? This is important as we are in the middle of reconciling our year end inventory values.

They updated the values for your inventory value report accordingly, what I was referring to were the ‘places’ this was being impacted in the backend.

As originally stated your inventory value report should now be up to date and reflecting the values that you were expecting. If this is not the case, please let me know and I’ll coordinate accordingly.
