I’m having an issue with the lead edit screen. If we paste an email in the notes that includes the header of the email, the whole lead screen will turn blank. We tried other users and clearing the cache/cookies but are getting the same issue. Here are three examples from our system:

I’ve been doing some testing here regarding this issue where the lead screen is turning blank. I’ve got a few questions here regarding where you’re inputting those notes & what version you’re using:
- Are you inputting those notes via the Notes subsection on the actual lead object itself?
- Which version of the lead object are you using when that occurs? Are your users on the ‘old version’ or the ‘new version’ of the lead page when it refreshes and blanks out? Below are both versions of the lead object:
It looks like the new version is reproducing the issue that you’re expressing:
It also looks like the old version of the lead page is working as expected & presenting the notes that you’ve established with the header of the email. If you can, please have your users using the ‘old version’ of the lead page in the meantime. I’ll start working with the team to get that new version resolved.

- I added a note from the notes subsection on the lead object itself. I pasted in an email, selected “email” as the note type, and hit submit.
- I was definitely on the ‘new version.’ I switched to the old version, and it is opening up now.
We will continue to use the old version for the time being. Thanks for the tip! I’ll watch for future updates on the resolution of this issue.

Thank you for those details. I’ve got engineering looking into that blank page on the new version of the lead object. I’ll be in touch with an update as soon as they’ve sent an update my way.
In the meantime please continue using the old version as that loads as expected.

Got an update for you here Alex. Engineering has corrected the blank lead page when swapping it over to the new version.
It was related to an issue with the ‘notes’ that were being generated. This has been resolved and you should expect that hotfix in the next 7-10 days to hit your environment.
Please check the new version once that time frame has passed and let me know if you’re still running into issues there.
