Since this new release, we are no longer able to select multiple items from the MRP and have them all transfer over to a new PQuote. It will only bring over the first item checked on the MRP.
Process:
Select checkbox in front of items on MRP.
Check buy at the “Do you want to buy or build prompt” at top.
Thanks for contacting us about this issue. We have had a couple of other folks inform us of what sounds like the same problem, and have a fix that should be released overnight. Please let us know tomorrow if you continue experiencing this issue.
Apologies for the inconvenience, we know this is a very important and widely used feature among our customers.
@Andy Thanks for letting us know! Looks like in the shuffle of getting the fix pushed out to everyone, the server where your environment is hosted was missed. We’re getting that corrected now, and it should be working properly for you within the next 30 minutes or so.
@Andy We’ve been double checking and testing, and it seems like the fix we pushed out should be working for you.
An easy way to test this is to select multiple parts on the MRP screen and try to ignore them (you have to select to either build or buy for the ignore button to appear). The process that pulls all of those parts on to a PQuote is the same one that lets you ignore multiple lines at once, and that is working correctly.
Can you walk us through step by step what you’re doing that isn’t working, so we can try to test/reproduce it on our end?
One thing to note, it may be useful here to log out of Cetec, reset your browsers cache, and log back in. Sometimes these hotfixes won’t show up if you’ve been logged in the whole time, and so it’s necessary to log out/in to refresh the environment.
Have you tried what worked for Andy above, logging out of Cetec, resetting your browser’s cache, and logging back in?
Also as noted above, an easy way to test this after you’ve completed those steps is to select multiple parts on the MRP screen and try to ignore them (you have to select to either build or buy for the ignore button to appear). The process that pulls all of those parts on to a PQuote is the same one that lets you ignore multiple lines at once, and if that works correctly then the issue that others were experiencing has also been corrected in your environment.
@Greg Just confirmed that, as of about 30 minutes ago, you should have the latest update working in your environment.
Are you able to run through the logging out, clearing cache, and logging back in again to test that generating a PQuote with multiple parts from MRP (or just ignoring multiple parts) is working for you now?
@Greg Great! Sorry about the initial confusion there, sometimes these hotfixes don’t get deployed to resident hosted environments the same as they do to our cloud customers, depending on how the servers are set up.
