NCR for Open Build

I have an open build that had a major fail which caused the whole batch to fail. How do I create an NCR for a specific build not a specific part number?

Unfortunately NCRs are only for individual PRCparts. You can list more than a qty of 1 of a part but you can’t put an entire build for the BOM and it’s subs on one NCR. You will have to make separate NCRs for each of the parts.

So in order to create the NCR I have to say the build is closed? Even though that is not correct. All parts failed prior to the end?

Where are you creating the NCR? Are you wanting to create it directly from the order? Or are you creating it on the NCR screen? The order shouldn’t have to be closed for that.

Please let me know what process you are taking.
