We’re currently experiencing significant delays when attempting to generate and export the A/P Aging Summary Report. Below is a time study we’ve conducted for your reference:
Generating the report:** 8 minutes and 17 seconds
Exporting the report:** 10 minutes and 22 seconds (longer than generating the report)
Downloading the PDF:** Attempted for approximately 45 minutes with no success
Could you please advise whether this performance is expected behavior, or if there are any adjustments or optimizations we can make on our end to improve the process?
Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate your assistance and look forward to your guidance.
I experienced the same approximate times when testing. I am escalating this issue to engineering now to see what kind of speed optimizations can be utilized.
We have a version of this report that we have been working on to fix this speed issue. We haven’t released it to everyone yet, it’s still in Beta testing, but, it might provide you with some relief.
We are hard at work on it, and if want to try it, you can, but, it’s possible that there are a few bugs we haven’t uncovered, as a fair warning.
When I tested the report (hit Submit), it loaded in 4-6 seconds. The export loaded in <10 seconds.
Thank you for the update and for following up on this. I’m looking forward to the new version of the report, especially with the expected improvements in performance.
I have a couple of questions:
Is there a notification system in place to alert us when a new update has been made in the system?
Is there any report available that allows us to track the updates made over time?
Thank you again for your continued support. I look forward to your response.
Thank you for your message, and I’m glad to hear you’re looking forward to the updated report. You can actually access it now, just be on the lookout for bugs, and feel free to report any that you find.
To answer your questions:
System Update Notifications: Currently, Cetec ERP does not have an in-app notification system that alerts users automatically when a system-wide update is deployed. However, we do publish release notes with each new version, which outline new features, improvements, and bug fixes. If you’d like, I can make sure you’re added to our mailing list for these updates, or you can always find the latest release notes in the Help Documentation section.
Tracking Updates Over Time: While there isn’t a built-in report specifically designed to track system updates historically, the release notes serve this function by documenting all changes per version. For changes within your own environment, such as document edits, order updates, or user actions, the Audit Log or Change History features on various modules (e.g., orders, quotes, BOMs) can help track internal activity.
Thank you for your informative response to my questions.
Could you please add me to the mailing list for these updates? Additionally, could you kindly let me know where the Help Documentation section is located?
