Our Sept Profit and Loss isn’t showing the adjusting journal entry for payroll accruals (GL4200, GL5089):

After looking into this further the reason the manual ledger entry is not on the P&L is because it’s a monthly entry with a reversal at the beginning of the following month. We took a look at the ledger with an extra month added on and got this: Cetec ERP

August 2024 entry EOM reverses on 2024-09-06, and it is the exact same amount - using account 5089 as example - the net amount posting in September BOM reversal of August entry and EOM September entry nets to -0-, so no affect on the P&L:

I also want to clarify that the exclamation point at the end of the entry number means that the entry is inactive and has already been canceled and then the replacing entry is indeed on 2024-07-31.

The ledger was run to include Inactive entries so it was canceled and replaced on 2024-07-31.
