RECEIVING TWICE

My receiving guy is telling me that sometimes when he receives it receives the line twice.
I cancelled receipt 16076 and kept 16075.
How is this happening? I would like to know if it is something we are doing so it doesn’t happen in the future.

Could you tell me the normal process your receivers take when receiving parts? Are there other examples you could give me? Has it been only happening when one user receives parts?

yes one user
mike bertrand
opens po
go to status on right hand side and click receive
under quantity accepted and type the quantity that came in on the po
then click receive
then it says part received

We need some more info to see if we can narrow down this issue as we haven’t been able to replicate it. Can the user think of any commonalities between the times this has happened? Does it seem to be specific to parts, POs, or vendors? If you receive then cancel the receipt then receive again does it duplicate it again?

Any other info you can provide to narrow down this issue would be greatly appreciated!
