Over the past few weeks, we have been experiencing a slow down at precisely 1:00pm EST It lasts for about 5-10 minutes, but it’s impossible to do anything during that time. Is this something that we should just expect and work around it or is there something causing it that can be fixed? All 50 users are affected and it doesn’t matter which screen you are in.
@Andy, Timing here definitely seems strange. The only thing might be happening in the system that may be related is the automatic allocation refresh. By default this happens a couple of times a day, and since it’s a pretty intensive process we try to schedule it for what would typically be low activity times. I think it’s normally noon, and overnight.
If you search the config settings for “Allocation Last Run” it will give you a time stamp for when it was last run (time is based on the server, should be CST)
See if there’s a correlation between the time stamps there and the period of time where you’re experiencing the performance issue. If that’s the case, let us know, and we can see what our options might be to help work around it.
