What are inactive entries under general ledger?

While entering ledger entries, they mainly populate under inactive. They also give a number a ledger entry number that was not viewable when searched. EX: Entry 18878 “created” as well as 18879. Stopped entering more ledgers after those were nowhere to be found.

Hello,

I would like to try having you go here: Cetec ERP and pushing update entry on there, to see if we can get it to be searchable. If that does not work, I will do some more testing and escalate from there.

Thanks for your assistance, I tried that and it still produced no results.I tried a new entry this morning. It gave me the same message and is not searchable.

Engineering got back with me and said the following:

That entry doesn’t show because we search for splits, not gl entries.

If you filter by the entry ID we just grab entry splits with the entry id you gave.

Since there are no splits on the entry, we have nothing to show on the ledger summary.

We are still unsure as to why it is blank and are doing some more testing.

Please let me know if this makes sense.

Hello

Are you still having the same issue? We need a more current example and hyperlink to the transaction with no ledger, if you have one, please. We have not been able to reproduce the issue with testing.
