I was wondering if there is some way of backwards assigning a workorder to a new order. I know the process of creating a workorder for an inventory item out of a new customer order. What I’m wondering is if there is a method of assigning a pre-existing internal inventory order and assigning it to a customer’s order so when the workorder is viewed in the system it is marked as already sold and assigned to a specific order number. Also, looking at the order would show the workorder has been assigned to it?
I suppose we could just add sticky notes to both, but wondering if there’s another way.
