Can certain days be blocked from being selected as a ship date in the system? We get orders months in advance and realized this week that we had orders scheduled with the ship date as 09/02 (Labor Day). It would be great to remove days from being able to be selected or have it give the user a prompt. If this already exists, let me know! Thanks.

Thanks for sending this question in. There is a way to do this.
Capacity must be set for each ordline status location for this to work, so make sure you go into your ordline status table and ensure that your “Capacity Minutes Per Day” is set for each location.

You’ll navigate to Production >> Scheduling >> Set Capacity

Once there, you’ll be able to utilize this per date. On the “From” category, choose a Saturday/Sunday or a date that has 0 hours scheduled on all locations. Then, select a holiday (Labor Day for instance) in the “To” range.
So “From” could be “8-3-24” to “8-3-24” and “To” could be “9-2-24” to “9-2-24”. Then hit “Copy Capacity” and you’re set.

Does this also block the date from being selected for other roles? I am more trying to prevent our order entry staff from selecting a ship date which is a holiday.

Thank you for the clarification. Currently there is no way to, for example, select 9/2/24 in Cetec and disable shipping on that date.
The best way in the current system would be to leverage the Order List, filter by an upcoming holiday on the Ship Date range, and make sure there are no scheduled orders set to ship.
