BOM Revision - Customer Supplied Parts

On a BOM’s first revision, if I have uploaded a BOM that has some customer supplied parts, and I have marked as such on the BOM upload, I see that it does properly check “Customer Supplied” on this revision. If I have another revision on top of this one, I see the BOM information is all carried forward but then the “Customer Supplied” is not checked.

I believe this is a bug or software issue - how can this be resolved? How can the user know what properties are carried forward into a new revision? It seems that everything else is carrying forward aside from “Customer Supplied”.
