BOM Roll Up Costs

Hi, we have a product that has a BOM MU 0069, when viewed as a part it shows zero value in Default Cost.
When viewed as a BOM list it shows the total cost.
Is the reasoning for this, due to the product never having been in stock or purchased?

@Denis

Thanks for reaching out to Cetec Support. Which environment is this in? I looked in dynamic metrics but I wasn’t able to find that BOM. Can you send a link possibly?

Thanks,

@Denis

So it looks like the part list doesn’t show total cost only default cost and default resale. The BOM list shows Total cost because that is the cost of all the BOM components. The rest of the costs on that list as you can see are 0 because the part hasn’t been bought yet. The only reason it is showing total cost is so you can see the price of the components.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks,
