We are facing some issues while setting up tools in our production process. We would appreciate it if your team could review these points and consider including improvements in future updates.
BOM Tool Confusion
While making individual components, the tools section works neatly and shows the exact number of tools that need to be checked in.
However, when these components are used to assemble a finished product, the tools section shows not only the tools required for final assembly, but also the tools used earlier for making the components. It also allows access to those previous component-level tools, which creates confusion for the production team.
Ideally, at the finished product assembly stage, the system should only show the tools required for that specific production activity.
Tool Check-Out Process is Time-Consuming
On average, we need to check out around 5 to 7 tools for each production order line. Entering the same information repeatedly for each tool is quite tedious and slows down the process.
Please let us know if there is any existing way to simplify this, such as bulk check-out, auto-filled information, or any other shortcut. If not, we would request that this be considered for future development.
