I set up a new high level parent account, but it does not state “high level parent account”
I set up 2 income tax accounts under this parent and made a reclass journal entry. The entry is visible, but the financial is not picking these 3 new accounts up on the income statement, and my balance sheet does not reconcile by the $ amount reclassed.

It looks like A/C 800000 Income Taxes was missing it’s Parent Account. We went ahead and set it to Other Income And Expense.

You will need to reset the Parent Account from Other Income And Expense to Income Taxes, for both State Income Taxes and Federal Income Taxes.

Your net income before taxes can be accessed via your P&L which you can export to print out those values.
