Copy labor plan from order to another part

How can I copy labor from a part on an order to another part? Currently on order 77.1-3 should be copied to 77.1-18. When on 77.1-18 “copy all labor from another part” and we specify 77.1-3, it doesn’t work but gives the green “labor has been copied” message

@Eduff

Both of these orders have labor plans currently. Were you able to get them to work? Cetec ERP Cetec ERP

Or did you add it manually? Can you tell me the exact steps you took?

Thanks,

It was done manually. Going into 77.1, select item 18, click Main/Etc, click labor plan management, click location saw, add 2.5 hours, set, add location mill prototrak, add 2h 15m, set.

@Eduff

When this order was created did this revision have a labor plan? Cetec ERP This functionality is supposed to copy the labor plan from the revision not from another order. Is there another example of this happening? Since this has already been manually fixed it’s hard to tell if the issue is still persisting.

Let me know!

We haven’t done revisions and our scheduler was copying the labor from line 3 to line 18, or attempting to as that is possibly in our previous software. So to make this work we would create a part, add the labor plan during part creation in Cetec, then when that part is added to an order the labor plan would already be on the part?

@Eduff

If you add a labor plan to a revision of the part and add that part with the same revision to an order the labor plan will already be there. Labor plans aren’t copied per line they are copied from the revision of the part that you can set up on the revisions screen on a part. If you use the same revision after setting up the labor plan yes it will be there automatically.

Please let me know if you have more questions.
