Currency rate issues

Hello team,

Happy New Year!

Our default currency is EUR.
We have also added USD in Cetec’s currency.
The currency rate seems ok as it updates daily.

#1 The PO 23.1 Cetec ERP is in USD and the USD was also selected for the Prepayment. Despite that, prepayment is appearing in EUR without using the rate but by just placing the same price.

#2 Cetec seems to correctly change the price from USD to EUR for the parts of that PO. However while the ‘‘default cost’’ changed correctly, the Std Cost didn’t change (appearing in EUR but this is the price in USD). That happened for both of the parts.

#3 I am trying to import some parts by using Excel. Some of them bought in USD. How to do that while my Default currency in Cetec is EUR.
I have entered a fake part to test Cetec Cetec ERP
=> I tried to enter the amount and then USD in ‘‘cost’’ e.g. 50 USD
However, in the ‘‘pricing section’’ it appears as ‘’$50.00’', in ‘‘View’’ section appears as ‘‘50,00 EUR’’.

Kind regards,
Michalis

Hello Cetec,

Any help on that?

Kind regards,
Michalis

@Michalis

Thank you for reaching out about this. I am seeing the issue here. I am going to replicate and send to engineering to get this fixed.

Thanks,

Cetec ERP Support

Hello @cetecerp23, do you have any updates?

Thank you!

@Michalis

Engineering has completed a fix for issues 1 and 2. This should reach you in a couple of weeks. As for issue 3 unfortunately we do not support importing not in your default currency. We recommend converting the currency and then importing the parts.

Thanks,

Cetec ERP Support

Thank you @cetecerp23. I will wait for the fixes.

I don’t think it’s practical to wait for Cetec to change my default currency every time I want to upload something in a different currency—it would be too time-consuming. It would be much easier to upload in any currency I choose and have Cetec automatically recognize and convert it to my default currency. In any case, I’ll try to find another solution.

Thanks,
Michalis
