The ‘default resale’ on the parts page is not updating even after updating the resale on the pricing page. See attached screenshots.
The default resale is still not working correctly.
@jake thank you for letting us know.
Is it the same part you mentioned above or another part? When I look at part RAW307-011 in your environment the default resale matches the pricing rule.
Thanks!

It’s all parts. It takes days before they will match. In the past, when I changed the pricing rule the default price would instantly match.
@jake thank you, can you provide a couple examples?
CetecERP Support
Yes. RES405-065 is one I just changed.
@jake thank you. I took a look and you’re correct, it hadn’t yet updated. The new price didn’t take effect until today so it’s possible the overnight batch process hadn’t seen the change yet if it ran before midnight. I went ahead and clicked the refresh next to the default resale on that part and it correctly updated the resale to the new value.

If you can provide another example that has a price change further back in time, but has yet to update that would be helpful.
Thanks!

@jake just to confirm, I checked your environment and the overnight batch process that updates part resale based on rules runs around 9pm. So a price rule that takes effect today should update the default resale of the part this evening.
Thanks!

@jake I did a test and even if the part default resale hasn’t yet updated, the rule will apply to any new quotes for that part. So if you create a new rule today that’s active as of today, any new quotes will apply that pricing rule regardless of the default resale on the part.
Thanks!

Thanks a lot for checking into this. It looks like the parts are updating overnight.
In the past the default resale would update immediately. I used this to double check I had updated the pricing rules correctly.
