Email Sends Without Error When Contact Field is Left Blank

Hi Cetec team,

We encountered an odd behavior with the email feature and wanted to check in to see if this was expected behavior or potentially a bug.

One of our users reported that they could send a PO out of Cetec without selecting a contact. The email appeared to send successfully, but no contact was attached—and no error or warning was thrown during the process. It wasn’t until later that we realized the email didn’t reach the intended recipient.

I haven’t had a chance to test this personally yet, so we may have missed something, but it seems like it might be worth looking into. If the contact field is left blank, ideally, the system will block the send and prompt the user to select a recipient before continuing. Emails without recipients aren’t very helpful :sweat_smile: and could easily go unnoticed in time-sensitive situations.
