What role do I need on an employees profile so that he can see PO’s without seeing financials, sales, and other employee times?

Answering your question here - providing that specific user in question the ‘AllPQuotes’ user role should open up access to view all PO’s and PQuotes within the system without allowing sales & other employee times to be visible.

I believe that user might be assigned the Manager user role which opens up the ability to view employee time logs. If this is not necessary, remove that particular user role, and associate AllPquotes with their profile & it should grant them what you’re needing.

Let me know if this is not the case. Also if you could provide the username of the individual I can run a check on their roles for you to see what else you might need.

Username is Ken

Username is Ken. i added the pquote and took off the supervisor role. Now he lost the ability to do maintenance +. What role needs to be added so that he has that function?

You’ve given Ken ‘AllPquotes’ which should open up his ability to view PQuotes/POs in the system.

You’re referencing the Maintenance+ page - which specific object is he trying to view that on? Workorders?

Okay that’s helpful! Now what specific hyperlink under the Maintenance+ dropdown is Ken needing to navigate to within the system?

Does they work in the bom management or labor plan screens? Do they need to be able to split lines?

He needs to be able to go into labor plan management in an order.

Hey Jessica,

If that user is needing to navigate into the ‘Order Specific Labor Plan’ page within the workorder object there are a few roles you can provide. Ideally (if the user helps with production) you’d just give them the Production user role. That should open up that functionality for them without allowing the other access points - i.e. user time logs, mgmt reporting, etc etc.

Try giving Ken ‘Production’ as a user role and let me know if that doesn’t work. If not, I’ll advise here on a few others that would potentially suffice.
