Errors when editing BOM

I am getting several errors when trying to edit BOM STA064. See attached screenshots. I have taken STA064 and cloned it to STA064-001, STA064-002, and STA064-003.

Hey Jake,

So the first screenshot, it is not allowing you to clone the bom, the second one it is not letting you add a component? If that is correct let me know, and also let me know which part you are trying to add in the second screenshot.

Thanks

That is correct. The first screenshot is trying to clone STA064. The second is trying to add STA064-002 to the BOM of STA064.

I am also having issues with part # PLU120-002. 500 Internal Error appears when trying to open the view page.

Basically nothing is working at this point… receiving internal orders, creating orders, cloning quotes, view part #'s, editing BOM’s etc.

Hi @jake,

Sorry about the issues you’re experiencing here. There was a change to the way UOM conversions were calculated that had some unintended impact.
Our engineering team has a fix that should get deployed to you within the next hour or so, once it’s passed our automated testing. Please let us know if you continue having issues later today.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Most of the errors have been fixed, but STA064, STA064-001, STA064-002 and STA064-004 still have issues.

Hey Jake,

I tried adding those components to each others boms and it went through this time. Are you having a specific issue with those parts?

Thanks

Cetec ERP Support

When I add STA064-001 to STA064 BOM it gives me the error shown in the screen

shot.

Ok,

I am pulling another back up and testing that now.

Thanks

Hey Jake,

That should be cleared up now, there was a recursive bom on STA0640-001

let me know if you have any further issues.

Thanks

Cetec ERP Support

The same error apears when adding STA064-001, STA064-002 or STA064-004 to STA064 BOM.

Hello,

I tested this and was able to add those components to STA064, are you still encountering the issue?

Thanks

Cetec ERP Support

Hey Jake,

We pinpointed what is causing the issue, those new cloned parts still have the original rev on them, even though they are not set to that rev, the system, blocks it from being added to the parent to stop recursive boms from happening should you put it back to that rev. Go ahead and delete those revs from the cloned parts, and you should have no problem adding them to STA064.

Thanks!
