How do I add an unexpected rush charge to an in process or completed work order line item in Cetec?

Good Morning Pat,

You can always add a new charge transcode ordline to the order in question that’s having the rush charge associated to it. Use one of your non-inventory parts, add it as a charge line item, and designate a resale value to it so that cost is captured.

Then designate a line comment to the newly added ordline indicating that addition is capturing the rush charge so the customer understands the increase in resale value of the sales order.

If you’d like, you could generate a non-inventory prcpart record (i.e zzzrushcharge) and use that on the new ordline or simply use one of your non-inventory part records & the line comment field for designation.
