Inactivate a Customer

Is there is a way to inactivate a customer, but not delete them? We don’t want to lose the history for the record.

I think that when you “delete” or “inactivate” a customer, you don’t lose the history for the record, you can “restore” or make “active” their profile with all the data intact…

For the customers you delete, you’ll see them as “inactive” under the customer search…

If you want to activate their profile again, then go into their profile and “Restore”.

@robinl Regis is correct, deleting the customer record just marks it as inactive in the system. All transaction history is still connected to the inactive record, and that customer can be restored at any point.
