Accessing the Part Waterfall shows you the Qty Need for each order. However, when you click Toggle Waterfall the “ALLOCATION AS OF …. FOR LOCATION …” view shows Qty Need of 0 for stock orders (regardless of whether the items have been picked or not) but will display the quantity for components on a build order. Also, the PO number on the waterfall shows PO and line number but on the Allocation view it only shows PO. We are a little behind on updating Forecasts so the Allocation view is the one that removes those from the Waterfall (to get the most accurate picture) so it’s difficult not having access to the Qty Need. (Note: Reserve Inventory for All Orders Config setting is turned on).
