Internal Server Error when creating SO and commiting to order and then Create sub assemblies

Hi,Cetec support,
I am trying to create a salesorder for one of our products and I am geting a internal Server Error.
This is the quote
https://thesnusbrothers.cetecerp.com/quote/320/view

I start by creating a quote like below picture.

And then I go to commit order.

And then I want to create sub assemblies,
And then we get

I might add that when I click on the BOM Worksheet for each sub assembly
I get this message in yellow displaying on the screen.
BOM Worksheet is still loading. Please wait and reload this page. If you suspect that something has gone wrong, click on the Refresh BOM below to try again.

This is happening for many of my products … but not all.

What Have I tried:
Complete refresh ctrl+shift+R.
Tried creating new products.
Tried removing things from the BOM’s
All without success!

Please Advise! We are currently stuck in our production so it is URGENT.

@sisyfos

Good Morning,

Quick question here, you can successfully commit the quote to an order, but when you go to generate sub-assemblies on the new order are you doing it via the ‘Create WO’ button on the left hand navigation menu?

Is that where you run into the 500 - internal error is when you try to commit the workorder quote into an order or is it when you just click the ‘Create WO’ hyperlink?

If you could, please send over as detailed a list of operations that you’re working through as you can i.e.:

  1. Generate a stock order quote.
  2. Commit the stock order quote to order.
  3. Commit to order successful.
  4. On the stock order, I try to generate a workorder via the ‘Create WO’ hyperlink.
  5. I am able to get to the quote page, I get a 500 - internal error when trying to commit
  6. or whenever I click ‘Create WO’ I receive the 500 - internal error immeditately.

Could you send me a detailed order of operations like I provided above so I can quickly test this and get it corrected for you? Again I just need the details/order of ops on exactly how you get to that 500 - internal error.

Thanks!

Hi,
Quick answer here.

It is when i press the hyper link marked in yellow in the picture below that I get the internal server error.

I will try the other scenario explained by you and post the reply afterwards.

@sisyfos

I’ve got a route that I can use to speed this up if you’d provide approval for me to work through that test quote you have (TEsting Internal Server Error).

I just need to click that ‘Here’ hyperlink to try and populate the 500 - internal server error.

Could you pass along approval for me to work through that in your production environment so I can quickly try to generate that 500 - internal error?

Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support

Sure!
Not quite sure how I do that though.

//H

I remeber it is a setting but I do not remeber where.

@sisyfos

No setting here, I would just need approval from you that I can click the ‘Create Subassemblies Here’ in your production environment (just a ‘yes, you have approval’).

If not I can continue trying to test this particular issue in one of our environments. I have not run into this issue in our backup though - the alert that you’re getting above the quote/bom worksheet is not present on my end.

Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support

Go ahead!
OR YES YOU HAVE APPROVAL !

@sisyfos

I hit the ‘Here’ button and the subassemblies were created successfully:
Success: Subassemblies Created

I did not receive the 500 - internal error that you did when you clicked the ‘Here’ icon. Are you able to commit the quote to an order now or are you still having issues?

Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support

Yes, That is because I have already got the internalserver error on that quote.
As you can see I am not able to commit that to order.
It says “order Entry Prohibited until all conditions are met”

You need to create a new quote.

I can set one up that you can continue on.

Here is one that you can try it on.

Thank you for the followup information & the quote that you generated for testing. I’m going to work through this and see if I can reproduce the internal server error.

Once I do I’ll generate a ticket for our engineering team to check into and get that resolved for you.

I’ll be in touch with another update once I’ve been able to get that reproduced, a ticket sent to engineering, and that they’re actively working to get that corrected.

Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support

@sisyfos

I have this sent over to engineering and they’re currently evaluation the test case that I’ve sent over. Thank you for the quote creation on your end and for allowing us to test that in your production environment.

As soon as engineering sends this back my way I’ll be in touch with an update for you. Hang in there, we’re working to get this resolved.

Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support

Hi,
Thanks for your swift replies!

We will hang in there :slight_smile:

@sisyfos

Update here - our engineering team has gone through and cleared out some bom/quote worksheets that were hung up in the database.

Go ahead and try to commit whatever quotes you need for production to order and let me know if that’s been resolved for you.

Thanks for your patience while we worked to get that resolved!

Hi,
Unfotunately the problem still persists.

You try it yourself here.
https://thesnusbrothers.cetecerp.com/quote/328/order

Please tell enginering that they are free to test as many quotes they want in our production env.
As long as they stay with any of the FIG’s from qweet … i.e FIGQWEET…

Tried hard refresh but to no avail.

Leaving work now … It would be really nice if this was resolved by the time we get back tomorrow morning. Thats at 23:00 hours your time.

Thanks

@cetecerp21
Back at office and the problem still persists!
Seems no more efforts were made yesterday to adress the problem.
This means another day for us with no production orders being created.

It is getting very urgent!

Update!

If I go and check each BOM worksheet by clicking the little document icon here:

And then create subassemblies by clicking here:

I get a internal Server error with a error message dispalying like this;

Maybe that can give you a clue as to what is wrong in the system.

Trying to help to get this resolved as quickly as possible!
