Leads and Conversions

We are working on leads and after we convert them we are unable to see this figure in the “Sales Analysis” report under Leads. What’s the best way to track Leads that turn into orders and those that do not?

This link shows a lead that turned into an order. We activated the client but this data does not populate on the “Sales Analysis” report.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Hello,

So you can try filtering the lead list by the lead state, the example lead you sent populates when I filter by Award Stage/Secure Order.

https://bkvalvesequipmentinc.cetecerp.com/lead/list?reloaded=1&name=&from_date=&to_date=&date_type=newest_note&state=&assigned_to=&active=all&workflow_state=Award+Stage%2FSecure+Order&business_type_id=&probability=&association_1=&association_2=

You can also filter your sales order list by that customer to see how many orders you have for that customer.

Let me know if this works or if you need it to be more specific.

Thanks!

So when we convert the lead into a new customer/project we do not know what our success rate currently is. We have converted multiple leads now into new customers/projects but when we try to analyze the data for success rate. Cetec ERP

Was hoping you could help me understand the best process to turn a lead into a customer and how we can analyze that against customers/projects we did not get. Cetec ERP

Hello,

After talking with the team, they recommended that you add the text convert_to_customer in the Method to Run column under the WorkflowStage data maintenance table for that lead state.

Thanks

Thank you. Just updated that. Is there a help document breaking down the various options for
“Method to Run”? As well as the other options including: “Role Restrictions”, “Available Stages” and “Preceding Stage ID”?

Also, any word on if you will be having another ERPalooza event this year?

Thank you,

Kris

Hello,

Sadly we are not doing ERPalooza again this year but we hope to have it next year.

Here is an article on role restriction: User Roles & Restrictions

here are a few workflow stage articles: Workflow & Collaboration

I don’t think we have documentation on everything you listed, I will start trying to compile information to make an article on this. If you have specific questions or processes that you would like to throw in here about that information I can try to hit all of that and make some documentation.

Thanks!

Thank you. The video cuts off midway through How To Make Custom Workflows

But I did add the text “convert_to_customer” for our Create Account/Activate Customer/Add Commission. This is our Order Number 4 for Leads and when selected puts the lead into a “closed” mode. However, the data is not showing up in our sales analysis which I think should be showing up at this time correct? Cetec ERP

Hello,

I am looking into this again, trying to see what’s going on.

Thanks

Hello,

I wanted to let you know I have escalated this and we have been doing some testing, I hope to have a response for you today.

Thanks

Hello,

We believe we found the issue, if you go to those leads set to that state and hit ‘set’ again in that stage, that should fix the problem. The root issue was a space in the method to run in the data maintenance, which I have already corrected. Let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

Sorry it took so long to narrow it down.

Thanks!

Thank you. That seems to do the trick! Those spaces are killer!!!
