If a Line is set to ‘stock’ on the Order, the License Plate printed from the Release to Pick screen shows all the ‘stock’ lines for the entire Order.
Is there an option to have the License Plate only show what is on the specific Line?
Order 10746.1 is a great example. Attached is a screen shot of the License Plate from Line 1.
Thanks for sending in this question. Currently there is no way to only show what is on the specific line. Ultimately the purpose of the license plate is to show a comprehensive view of the entire order.
What would your hope be behind filtering a license plate to only show a line as opposed to the full order?
When the Line is set to ‘build’, the License Plate shows only what is on the specfic Line.
We print the License Plate as a check list for loading trucks, pallets etc. When the License Plate shows more that what is on the Line, it can become confusing.
On Build Orders, it filters by line because you have components for each line.
The License Plate on Stock shows all lines because you only have one part to pick per line.
Ultimately the purpose of the license plate is to show you your comprehensive pick list, and the pick list on stock orders is the same - it shows everything on the order.
If you want to continue to use the License Plate the way that you are, that’s not an issue… I would just suggest printing it out and crossing it out line by line (as one solution). This isn’t something that development will be willing to change.
