Locked Bins after Cycle Count

Hello,

We have several parts that are in locked bins which should not be. I checked the expiration date, and this field is either blank, or the date is in the future. We recently did a Cycle Count and used the Lock Bins feature and it seems several parts were not “Unlocked” after the cycle count was closed. This is my only guess as to why this happened. Any insight into this would be helpful.

And is there a way to unlock several bins at one time?

Hey Emily,

That’s unfortunate news that your bins remained locked after processing a cycle count in the system. I’m going to need some details here regarding the process that took place. You indicated a cycle count took place, the Lock Bins option was used, and all items on the cycle count were counted & it was closed.

I’d expect that to ‘unlock’ all bins that were counted & processed, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Could you point me in the direction of the cycle count number that you used (that included the Lock Bins option) and I can begin testing this out for you?

If I can reproduce the issue, I think I can have engineering go through all bins that were cycle counted in the specific cycle count you processed and unlock all subsequent bins associated with that cycle count.

I do need to reproduce this particular issue first.

Thanks,

Sure, there are 4 bins still locked on Cycle Count 599.

Hello,

Wanted to check if you were able to reproduce this issue?
