I’m sure I’m just missing it somewhere, but I thought there was a feature I could enable to receive an email notification when inventory on certain items falls below a specified level.
Am I wrong about this?

Unfortunately, there is no current way to receive email alerts when inventory hits its set ROP.

Just to add some additional information here, parts that dip below their assigned ROP values will show up in MRP so that your purchasers see the demand. You can even filter MRP to only show lines where the demand source is from ROP, so that you can address those separately from demand signals generated by order activity.
There’s also a setting that you can use that will tell the system what to compare against when determining if a part is below it’s ROP: Can you make the ROP to work off of different part values when using the MRP?
This is typically how we would advise you track parts with ROP. However please let us know if you still feel like you want an email notifier for ROP demand.
Development did not give me a timeline, but they had added the idea to their list of future developments!

Thank you, I will certainly try to make better use of the MRP, but a notifier would still help. IF we have an unexpected run on a part, it would be nice to get an early notification.
