MRP Issue

We have a component that is used 1 per on a single BOM. We have a demand for 10 pcs and placed an order last week for 12 of the components. There is no ROP value set for this component, but MRP is still telling us that we need 10 pcs to satisfy the demand. We can’t figure out why it is telling us to buy more.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe this is showing due to the need date being June 7th, so the system will try to get you to buy more or move the PO date up.

I would adjust the order 125.8 - 1 work start date/ship dates into the future.

I did pull a backup and test this, and once the sales order dates were adjusted, it no longer showed on MRP.
