we are looking to have negative quantities on part numbers for BOM changes driven during the ECO process. this way it will show for production what needs to be removed and for a QA side tracking what has happened to that work order. this will save us needing to create specialty BOM’s that are one time use and don’t link to the original order.
Apologies for the delayed response here. You are wanting to have negative qtys on ECOs? What part of the process do you need parts to be removed? How are you needing to connect ECOs to specialty BOMs? Just trying to understand the issue.
