@cetecerp19 any update
I apologize, for some reason your response did not hit my inbox. Thank you for following up!
I will let our development team know to begin work immediately. I will update you as we progress.
Thanks again Roland.

@cetecerp19 Okay, that sounds good.
@cetecerp19
Any update on this?
I checked with the engineer assigned to this project and we should have this wrapped up by the end of the week!

Anyupdate on this?
In process, apologies Roland. The engineer hit a snag in the code that was affecting other notifications negatively. Having to rework a few things. Iām hoping this is completed by next week for you.

Work has been completed and this will be deployed with the next version of Cetec.

Will this be showing up on the beta?
@rcheremeh yes sir once you get the newest version on Beta it should be good for testing.
Any timeframe when this will release?
We estimate September.
Thank you for the quick response.
How will this be triggered for the notification to be sent?
Around what time will the beta be out too just so we could test it
@rcheremeh hereās a quick preview of what it will look like
Youāll navigate to a PO and see a Notifications tab on the lefthand menu
On that page, youāll be able to set up a Receipt Email rule and specify who should receive the notification.
That rule will trigger anytime a receipt is logged against the PO, so any receiving activity tied to that PO will send an email to the recipients you define.
I want to give you a time Roland I just donāt want to overpromise/under-deliver⦠my best guess would be mid-to-late August.

Hello @cetecerp19
Could this be implemented at the PQuote level as well of the PO level?
We just reviewed this feature in the beta and realized that having it tied to the PO rather than the PQuote will make it more difficult for users to set up their notification rules efficiently.
If this could be simplified and more user-friendly that would be great.
I understand what is going on but for our other users that have a hard time using and understanding.
Also will users have do thing every time they create a PQuote?
Hi @rcheremeh
Thank you for your suggestion. Iām happy to check in with our development team regarding this request. I will note that a similar proposal was previously declined by the developers, but Iām glad to advocate on your behalf and revisit the conversation.
That said, Iāve been advised by both our development and accounting teams that, should this enhancement be approved, it would need to be quoted and billed separately as a custom development. Additionally, payment would be required in advance before any development work could begin.
Iāll follow up with the development team and keep you posted.
Best regards,
Cetec ERP Support
Thank you very much.
It makes sense to start from PQuote since that is the first step to a PO
Why would this be a separate bill?
We have been quote for $900
PQuote and PO are the same, and things that are shown on PQuote reflect on PO.
Just to clarify⦠this is a request to be notified when a line is received, correct?
That typically only happens at the PO level, since you canāt receive a PQuote line.
Is the goal to set the receipt notifier on the PQuote and have it carry over to the PO?
Or is the intention something different?
@cetecerp19
However, it makes much more sense for the notification to be set at the PQuote level rather than the PO level.
Our current process begins with the PQuote, which, once approved by a manager, is automatically converted into a PO. We simply want the notification to be configured at the PQuote stage, so that weāre alerted once the PO is received.
I understand what youāre saying. Iāll check in with our developers and follow up with their response.
