We would like to request a quote for a feature that would notify users via email when a PO line or an entire PO is received. Currently, using the part notification feature requires manually adding notifications to each PO line, which is time-consuming for large POs.
We are looking for a more efficient solution, such as a checkbox or button when creating a PQuote that, if selected, would automatically trigger an email notification to the user when the PO lines are received.
Could you provide a quote for implementing this functionality?
Apologies for the delayed response. I will submit this feature request on your behalf to our development team and will respond as soon as I have an answer.
Development expressed interest in developing the ability for the notification to be sent for each receipt… I know this may be different from the initial request… would you be willing to consider this as our option moving forward?
Yes, we can consider this option.
I have one question: when we receive a part, we don’t attach a packing slip to each line item—only to the purchase order. Will a notification still be sent in that case?
I have attached a PO as an example.
Line 1-11 was received, but the packing slip was only attached to the document
On the PO, we will add a notifications link to the left side nav which will allow you to turn on notifications for the entire PO. Then everytime a receipt occurs on the PO you will get a notification.
We’d like to proceed, but we have an additional request:
Instead of using the buyer as the recipient of the email, we have a bonus column, and users can enter an email in that location.
