If I want to give access for someone to be able to pick parts but not be able to adjust inventory counts, I don’t know what I am doing wrong. what should I un-click in admin users.
currently this is the access
Cetec, User, QA Inspector, Part Request, Supervisor, Warehouse, Production, Shortage Report
when I removed supervisor, they could not pick parts
Please any help would be greatly appreciated
Good Morning!
I’ve setup one of our profiles in our environment to mirror the user roles that you provided exactly. I setup a user with Cetec, User, QA Inspector, Part Request, Supervisor, Warehouse, Production, Shortage Report user roles.
I removed the supervisor user role from their profile, and went into one of the production orders directly from the Production Order List report. I was then able to navigate into one of the production orders, and click the Pick Parts screen without any issues:
Again the image above is from one of our user profiles without the supervisor role, but has all of the additional roles you provided. I was able to navigate to the pick parts screen & pick parts as expected.
Can you send over the username of the user in question (or you can message this to me directly) and I can test this in one of our environments to see what’s going on here.
Apologies for the delayed response here Angie - thank you for your patience!
Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support
