PO history

I believe this is a glitch because we can not see any history on the PO.

It was approved already and there is zero history on it now

@rcheremeh the pquote and po will have different history… if you click on the pquote in the left navigation panel and then look at its history you’ll see when the pquote was approved.

This must have been a recent change.

Because previously, when u approve a PQuote, it would show on the PO as approved, now it’s showing pending approval

@rcheremeh PO workflow & history was added earlier this year.. it was a customer request so they could track who has been assigned a PO and for how long. In their case they wanted the ability to have a second round of approval in case the final PO differed from the PQuote. You can customize the initial state of the PO workflow so that it will start in the Approved state.

Go to Admin > Maintenance > Data Maintenance > WorkflowStage

Add a new record

Enter the values as you see below.. be sure to click the “Initial State” checkbox.

Submit that change.

After that anytime a PQuote is approved and creates a PO the PO will start in the Approved Workflow Stage.
