Pricing Rules

Hi!

I am working on setting up some new pricing rules and would like to create a rule with a Prcpart qualifier that includes all our PRCs rather than having to create a separate rule for each PRC. Just wondering how to do this? Do Boolean rules work in Cetec? Thanks!

Good Morning Mike,

Regarding the setup of pricing rules, you should be able to designate the pricing rule for a product code specifically (i.e. PRT, SUB, BOM) during the creation process.

This would then enforce the pricing rule to be captured every time the designate product code is used instead of per prcpart.

Below is an example on how I’ve set that up in one of our systems:

Now if you’re trying to generate a single rule across all product codes in the system - I don’t believe that’s currently supported right now. You’d have to generate a pricing rule for each product code specifically. Now this eliminates having to generate pricing rules for each specific part within the product code so it is more encompassing, but a single pricing rule that functions for all product codes is not available right now.
