I am setting up a production only user for the first time and everything I try to get them to the work order says " **Error:**Order Does Not Exist Or You Do Not Have Access!" I have read through all the previous topics and so I tried to pull it up by work order, part number, work order and line item. I am not sure if I am supposed to set up a different config setting? Please advise.
To fix this issue for now you can look for the config setting called Can Access The Order Module and put Production Only into there. That will give you the access you need. This is only supposed to block the sales order screen not the work order screen but it seems to be doing that currently. I am escalating that issue to engineering but this will keep you moving.
We had a similar issue. Are you using the Global Search box? We were able to use the Global Search, and type in the full workorder number (that is order number, the period, and the dash number) in the Global Search box and hit enter. This would take us to the workorder. It must be the whole workorder number (i.e. 7667.1-23, must include the dash 23).
I apologize I was mistaken on that setting. It’s actually the config setting Can View All Orders. You need to add the Production Only role to that setting. You will then be able to pull up all the orders.
