Could you please clarify what the ‘QR’ column represents in the parts list window? Does it indicate the quantity reserved or the quantity required?
Additionally, how does this differ from the SUM Req’d Qty in the Purchasing-MRP window?

In Cetec, the “QR” column in the parts list window stands for “Quantity Reserved.” This value represents the number of units that have been formally allocated from available inventory to open orders, such as work orders or sales orders. It’s a snapshot of how much of the current inventory is spoken for, but not necessarily what’s needed overall.
In contrast, the “SUM Req’d Qty” column in MRP shows the total quantity required across all demand sources, including unfulfilled sales orders, shortages on work orders, and forecasted demand. While “QR” focuses on what has already been allocated, “SUM Req’d Qty” represents the total demand driving procurement decisions.
