I’m seeing inventory showing as a decimal on some occasions.
Why is this and what is the reasoning/solution to prevent this?
It’s not an across the board issue on this part# as I have multiple receipts which have processed properly as a whole #.
@jschlicher - Typically this happens as a result of inventory being overpicked on a work order, and then the parent product on the work order being split or partially shipped… thus the ratio of inventory to be relieved divides in a manner that produces a decimal instead of a whole number.
If you would like to prevent that from happening, you can turn ON config setting “Orders - Relieve Pick Qty In Whole Numbers Only” by setting that config setting to ‘1’.
