I’m using the text import tool to import lines into my quote for the new version, e.g. at a url like this:
https://mydomain.cetecerp.com/react/quote/1234/import
If you try to input this:
Prcpart,Revision,Transcode,Cost,Resale,Comment,Part Description,Tech Description
PRT12345,A,SA,,100,,"My part has commas, in it","This is a part description with plenty of commas, and other <b>html</b> tags in it"
Then I see the following issues:
- It doesn’t handle the case where there are empty fields (e.g. two commas in a row in the second line, where I haven’t provided a Cost)
- Entries that are enclosed in quotes are not treated as one field. It splits on the commas in the string.
This works fine in the old version, which I will continue using but I thought I would bring this to your attention.
I am on Cetec 4.23.112.
