Quoting Custom Products Without Creating A BOM

Is there a way to quote a custom product, send the quote, and then create a BOM on the backend once the Quote is accepted?

Thanks for reaching out about this. You can create a part on the quote then add BOM components to it after the quote is accepted. If you want to start with a none BOM part there is a button called Create as BOM

You can create the part then after the quote is accepted you can convert the part to a BOM then add parts.

How do I go about creating that new part in the quote? Will this show up on the parts list? Ideally I would not want these showing up in the parts list until the order has been placed and engineering has had an opportunity to review.
