Has CETEC considered adding a return on sales financial parameter to products and quotes? This is important to analyze profitability by each part number and quote.
We do this manually right now in Excel, but it would be great for it to be built into CETEC.
Gordon, I don’t believe this has been considered or is in the pipeline. I’m also not sure I entirely understand what that metric is, or how it would be derived/summarized using the data already in the system (perhaps some of our users do this in Excel like you said or in a Power BI or Metabase / Cetec ERP BI environment which allows for custom reporting).
That said, if you want to provide some details on the lowest level data that would be used for this, and how that data could or would be summarized into a “return on sales” metric, we’d be happy to consider it.
