How do I increment my S/N format with +2 instead of the default +1.
I have a product, that takes two serial since it ahs two unique ports. So if product 1, has S/N 27, port 0 of this product is 27 and port 1 is 28. Next product, needs to start with 29 instead of 28.
Another example:
Product A, S/N: 27 and 28. We will only print S/N 27 and put that label on Product A
Product A+1, S/N: 29 and 30, We will only print S/N 29 and put that label on Product A+1.
Just need CETEC to consume S/N 28 by incrementing by +2
How do you implement this in CETEC?
In discussing this with our engineers, it sounds like this is not currently supported in the software.
If this is something business critical for your company, and you wanted to invest in making it happen, we could explore the option of doing some work to create this functionality. However, at the moment, it’s unknown whether this would be feasible or desirable for the product.
