Order 11040.
Parent Assembly - BOM307499-1001
Sub-Assembly - BOM180521

The parent assembly has the sub-assembly with parts included is the License Plate 11040.1 and the system also give us the sub-assembly as it’s own license plate 11040.2 for the same parts.

Generally the sub-assemblies are on there own license plate(example 11040.2) and the parts are not included in the Parent license Plate.

Can you tell what we did to have the parts for the sub-assembly show up in the parent license plate?

Hey Pat,

I was looking into the BOM of the order, and I saw that the components of the subs are replicated in the top level BOM. With this configuration it would create a license plate for the subassembly but also have those same parts on the top build order.
