Tool Maintenance Due Date

When a tool comes back from calibration it has a new Next Due date, which isnt usually the same as the previous date (transport to/from calibration source, if it needs maintenance, etc). Is there a way to (easily) manually set the next Due Date? I just did it by figuring out how many days between now and the next due date, but I was hoping i could just pick a date?

@jburnell

To set this, you can only choose the frequency instead of the next date available. That date is locked and is unable to be chosen manually. You are able to edit the frequency manually, which would do the calculations for you. Would that work?

Thank you for your response. The difficulty becomes that we never really know what the calibration due date is going to be until the tool arrives back at our facility, and even then with travel time it will rarely be that same day. Possibly a week or so difference. We just had a piece of equipment that was sent to and calibrated in the UK, and then traveled back to the US, so the date was a gap from when it arrived back here.
With the item that prompted the question, I calculated and put in 334 days so that Cetec would reflect the Due Date on the calibration paperwork we got from the calibration house. Thanks again.

@jburnell
Ah I see the difficulty here. Let me discuss this with our product development team to see if we can create a configuration that would unlock the calibration date. I will keep you updated.

Thanks,

@jburnell

I discussed this with product development and they decided this is a good request and we will be working on unlocking this capability when we have some bandwidth to address it.

Thanks for your suggestion! Keep an eye out for those changes in the future.

thanks!
