Need to find way to update existing pricing of inventory in stock.
If possible need estimate of engineering hours, we can provide a spreadsheet with prc numbers, and costs and other info needed.
I am happy to reach out to engineering about this. Are you trying to update bins costs specifically? Or is this default costs for the part record or pricing rules? How many parts roughly would you need updated? Once I have that info I can reach out to engineering for a quote.
Thanks,

We are trying to update the current costs of certain items that have already been received in our inventory for one of our clients. (Approximately 50 parts)
When we received them in the past our clients purchased the items and drop shipped them to our warehouse, therefore we didn’t have to place any Purchase Orders with vendors so our costs associated for all those items we received was $0. Now our client is asking us to keep track of all the $ amount of their products in our inventory.
Please let me know if any further information is needed.
Thanks,
Robert
Thank you for those additional details. I will reach out to engineering for a quote and get back to you.

For 50 parts it doesn’t quite make sense (cost-wise) to get us to do this as a script as it would take longer to write and test the script than it would just to do it manually on your end. In this case it would be faster for you to just manually change the bin costs.
If the quantity needed to update was 400+ it might start to make sense to have a script written for you by our team.

We were told that we cannot change the price of existing parts in stock.
Can you explain how I can manually update my bin costs?
I want to be able to export a BOM list with all the costs in our inventory for this client.
You can update the bin costs on a part record:
That will update the cost of that specific bin so when you pick it to an order it will use that new bin cost. This is what we recommend changing in this case.

Hi,
Trying to understand your question.
It looks as if your part is just the number 153100-699.
What is the PRC code?
Lets say that you have many parts that start with 153 that are all of the same category.
Lets for the sake of this example call that category needles. we could abbreviate that to prc code NDL.
Then you could list them all by just searching for NDL.
Maybe I missuderstand something in your question here… sorry if I am stating obvoius things.

Hi,
Thanks, by sorting by PRC i’m able to get what i need.
