Our Cetec environment isn’t loading. When we reset our server it only lasts about 10-15 minutes before it stops loading again. Can you please check to see if this error is on Cetec’s end?
We are now getting a 502 Gateway Error.
It just worked for 5 minutes and we are down again.
You should be good to go! Our engineering team looked at this and were able to resolve the issue but unfortunately wasn’t able to find the cause.
Thanks,

Thank you. I will reply if we have any further issues.
Our webpage won’t load. Can you please see if this is on Cetec’s end? @cetecerp23
Engineering was able to restart the service to bring Cetec back up. It looks okay now.
Please let us know if you need anything else.

Thank you!
It is down again. @cetecerp23
We aren’t sure what to do, we’ve been down most of the work day. Any idea what is going on? @cetecerp23
Hi Kylie,
There’s an issue specifically in your environment with updating BOMs. Each time a BOM is updated from the UI, it’s hanging on the ‘update_bom’ process.
It’s not affecting anyone else, and we haven’t been able to reproduce it.
Processes which have locked it so far today include the ‘Update’ from:
/otd/revision/18918/edit_bom
/otd/revision/18905/edit_bom
/otd/revision/18904/edit_bom
/otd/revision/18906/edit_bom
/otd/revision/18902/edit_bom
/otd/revision/18918/edit_bom
At this time, we’re not sure what the actual underlying issue is. Our recommendation is to try to use the new version of the ‘Edit BOM’ screen. We were not able to reproduce the issue in your Beta environment either.
When using the “New Version’“ of the BOM Edit, please let us know if you continue to run into this issue.
Here’s what we were able to find.
There is a bad way in which ‘/otd/revision/18902/edit_bom’ especially is interacting with BOMs which one of the components is already associated with. It’s not a proper ‘recursion’ but it’s also not fully not recursive. (however confusing that is)… It’s… an Uncle relationship instead of a ‘my own grandpa’ relationship.
The lookup for this (to confirm the part is safe) is what was failing on adding that component to this (and other) BOMs. We’re updating the methods used to confirm the component is recursion safe. We expect those updates to be deployed to your environment in the next few days. In the meantime, the ‘New Version’ of the Edit BOM should be safe & faster to use.
Thank you!
@cetecerp7 When we try to add components to the BOM Revision edit screen in the new version the add button nor update actually adds the part, nothing happens. This is why we had to use the old version. Can you please see what the issue is?
@cetecerp7 @cetecerp23 Following up.
The new version of the screen should allow you to add parts. It’s possible this is a caching issue. Try hard refreshing on that screen. A hard refresh is Ctrl + Shift + R on windows and Cmmd + Shift + R on macs. If you are still having issues please send over a specific example.
Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support
Nope, you click add and nothing happens. I recached and it still doesn’t work.
Could you provide an example? You can put just the end of the URL and we can look in your domain.

react/otd/revision/18790/edit_bom
Try to add one of the parts that pops up when you enter sub-17
Engineering has a fix for this issue. It should reach you in the next couple of weeks.
