I have two users, ‘ShreshaR’ and ‘Chuck’ who have the same roles, but not the same access. The only discrepancy I’ve found with these users at this point is that Chuck is unable to edit pick quantities in work orders once parts have already been picked. He should have this access. Can you advise on this issue please?
Hello Liz,
I’m guessing that those two users have “Warehouse” user roles. I will check into what type of restriction could be preventing the one user from editing pick quantities in work orders once parts have been picked. We will try to assist you with giving him that access asap.

Liz, is it possible that the user experiencing the restriction is attempting to edit pick qty on an order that has already been Invoiced? It would be very helpful if you could send a link to an example order in which the user is experiencing this restriction.

Liz…we think that the difference for Chuck and Janis may be that in their user information, they both have this setting:
where as the user ShreshaR has that set to ‘Auto detect’. I am testing in a test environment to see if changing the setting to ‘Auto detect’ enables a user to change pick quantity on an open Order. Will get right back to you as soon as possible.

Liz, I was able to change that setting for a user in a test environment and that change allowed me to edit the pick quantity on an open Order. So if you edit users Janis and Chuck, changing the “Has Barcode Scanner (force tablet mode)” to Auto Detect, this should enable them to edit pick quantities on open Orders. Please let us know when you have made that change and whether these users are able to edit pick quantities so we will know if this works for you in your production environment.
