Hello,
What permissions level do I need to set an employee in order for them to be able to set customer credit codes without giving them access to all accounting? This would be for my sales guys to do new account setup.
@cetecerp any suggestions?
There is a security by role called Can Manage Customer Credit Hold which can be found here: Cetec ERP
The role Customer Credit is a role that you can create that will allow a user to modify credit code and credit limit. You can make that role on your data maintenance table: Cetec ERP Then you can give your sales rep that role and they will be able to edit credit code and limit.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support
I’ve done this, but My sales team still can’t edit Credit codes?
@cetecerp23 Any suggestions?
Could you provide a user that you did this on that is on the sales team? This would help me figure out why this process didn’t work correctly.
Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support
@cetecerp23 Yes no problem! The following users should have this permission: Mitch, Marcos, Jabo.
I impersonated Marcus and went to a random customer. He was able to edit the credit code. Were you referring to the terms code? If you impersonate Marcus he should be able to edit the credit code: Cetec ERP
Are you not seeing this behavior or were you referencing a different field?
Thanks,
Cetec ERP Support
@cetecerp23 I apologize I was using incorrect terminology, I need to be able to have my sales reps edit the Terms Code.
How can I give him the ability to change terms codes?
